Built from the Frequency Music Academy

Unified listening program for neck pain and neck osteoarthritis

Five paced blocks, 45 minutes in total, assembled only from what the Academy lessons support: calming, attention, gentle paced movement, unloading and an evening wind-down. It sits alongside your movement therapy, heat and prescribed medication — it does not replace any of them, and it does not treat the arthritis itself.

Block 1. Settle the scene

Sit supported with the head balanced over the shoulders, shoulders heavy. Listen at a comfortable conversational volume and let the breath slow to the music rather than forcing it.

Why: Lower state anxiety and muscle guarding before any neck movement. Anxiety relief is the outcome measured here, not joint change.

If sitting upright provokes sharp pain, arm numbness, weakness or dizziness, stop and contact your clinician before continuing.

The full program

1

Settle the scene

TM-101 · 8 min · Music therapy · Human trials support selected uses

Sit supported with the head balanced over the shoulders, shoulders heavy. Listen at a comfortable conversational volume and let the breath slow to the music rather than forcing it.

2

Move attention off the neck

TM-102 · 10 min · Music therapy · Human trials support selected uses

Choose the track you actually like — preference matters more than any advertised frequency. Follow one instrument the whole way through instead of monitoring the ache.

3

Gentle paced neck mobility

TM-103 · 9 min · Music therapy · Early human evidence

With a slow steady beat, perform only the range your clinician approved: small chin nods, slow rotations, gentle shoulder rolls. One movement per bar, stopping well short of pain.

4

Unload and breathe

TM-104 · 8 min · Music therapy · Human trials support selected uses

Lie down or recline with the neck neutral and supported. Nothing to do but listen through to the end of the track.

5

Evening wind-down for sleep

TM-106 · 10 min · Music therapy · Human trials support selected uses

Use this block in the last half hour before bed, lights low, phone face-down. Set a sleep timer so nothing plays in your ears all night.

How to tell whether it is helping you

  • Neck pain now, 0-10, before and after each session.
  • Worst neck pain in the last 24 hours, once a day.
  • Pain relief medication taken today.
  • Sleep: how long it took to fall asleep, and night wakings.
  • Neck function: short Neck Disability style questions in Report, weekly.

What this program will not claim

  • Music does not cure osteoarthritis, regrow cartilage or reverse degenerative change in the neck.
  • Fixed-frequency claims (432 Hz, 528 Hz, and similar) have no credible evidence for arthritis or pain and are deliberately excluded from this program.
  • Nothing in this program changes any TayaPulse device output, RF dose, or session settings.
  • New or worsening arm pain, numbness, weakness, clumsiness, unsteady walking or bladder change needs urgent clinical review, not a listening session.
